Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst for OCI Storage, based in Nashville. You will own end-to-end financial insights for the storage product, partnering with product and engineering to influence strategy, investments, and cost efficiency.

You will develop scenario-based models, analyze pricing and costs for NPIs, and tie financial reporting to KPIs while collaborating across engineering and finance to optimize margins and support S&OP and budgeting cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years finance experience. MBA a plus.
• Knowledge of Cloud Technology and Infrastructure and/or experience supporting engineering preferred but not required.
• Excellent communicator that can work cross functionally (engineering, finance, supply chain, operations) and with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop scenario-based financial and business models, with an emphasis on product level insights.
• Perform competitive analysis, pricing, and cost modeling for NPI (new product introduction).
• Link business strategy to financial reporting at various levels using KPIs and goals.
• Understand and influence investment decisions through detailed financial analysis.
• Drive overall gross margin optimization through deep analysis of drivers.
• Own all financial ROB activities (planning and budgeting cycles) per corporate requirements.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to ensure capacity investments are well-timed.
• Embed with engineering leaders and become their trusted advisor.
• Drive policies and procedures that monitor and support business objectives.
