Job summary

Premier Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a Principal Project Controls Specialist to lead cost management for a major power generation EPC project. Initially based in Charlotte, NC, with future mobilization to field sites as construction progresses.

The role demands expert EV, cost forecasting, and cost-schedule integration capabilities. Responsibilities include establishing baselines, forecasts, reporting, and mentoring the project controls team.

Qualifications

• Lead-level project controls experience on complex EPC projects.
• Experience supporting power generation construction (Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, Solar, Battery).
• Expert-level cost forecasting and project controls capabilities.
• Strong experience with Earned Value Management, variance analysis, budgeting, and cost reporting.
• Experience integrating project cost and schedule data.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost baselines, budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead cost forecasting for large-scale construction projects.
• Perform Earned Value Management, variance, and trend analysis.
• Integrate cost and schedule data to support planning and critical path decisions.
• Coordinate with schedulers to align cost and schedule performance.
• Develop monthly cost reports and present to leadership.
