You will drive innovation in methodologies and project delivery, develop permitting strategies, and manage regulatory processes to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expertise with the Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and other state and federal laws.
  • Coordinating with regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT).
  • Overseeing the preparation of technical environmental documents, such as permit applications, NEPA reports, routing and siting studies, and Certificates of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) filings for PUCT.
  • Providing senior‑level QA/QC for client deliverables, regulatory filings, and consultation strategies.
  • Managing interdisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration, ensuring high‑quality work products, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, leveraging existing networks to identify new opportunities, and leading proposals and scope preparation.

  • Extensive experience with state and federal regulations, including NEPA, CWA, ESA, and CCN filings for PUCT.
  • Demonstrated expertise in environmental planning and permitting for energy infrastructure, data centers, and/or CCUS projects.
  • Strong technical writing, strategic problem‑solving, and project management skills.
