Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Principal Engineer – Systems Engineering to lead system-level requirements, architecture, risk management, and V&V activities across complex product programs. This role drives cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure compliant, high-quality products throughout the lifecycle.

• Strong experience in: Requirements Management, Risk Management, Verification & Validation (V&V), Design Control Processes.
• Hands-on experience with Polarion or similar requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional product development environment.

Job Summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Engineer – Systems Engineering to support complex product development programs by applying systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle. This role will be responsible for requirements management, system architecture, risk management, verification and validation planning, and cross-functional technical leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-quality, compliant products.

• Experience collaborating with Quality and Regulatory teams on product compliance.

This position is ideal for experienced Systems Engineers who have led requirements management, system architecture, risk analysis, and V&V activities while working closely with cross-functional teams in a product development environment.
