Overview
Manufacturing Process Engineer – RF Systems (on‑site, Rolling Meadows, IL). Lead process design and improvement for Radio Frequency electronic warfare systems and subsystems, collaborating with design engineering, production, quality, and industrial engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with design engineering, production technicians, project management, industrial engineering, and quality organizations to meet manufacturing contractual commitments.
- Investigate, design, and provide solutions for nonconformance repair procedures.
- Generate and maintain manufacturing engineering process specifications, work instructions, routers, tooling/fixturing, and equipment.
- Review quality metrics and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce cost, cycle time, and defects.
- Conduct producibility reviews with design engineering to achieve producibility in new and updated product designs.
- Lead and report day‑to‑day process engineering efforts, provide executive‑level presentations on project status or production issues, and perform earned‑value on non‑recurring activities.
- Interface with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or a Master of Science in an equivalent field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
- Experience in creating process work instructions, developing or improving manufacturing processes, and/or working in a design or systems environment.
- Experience managing small to medium scale projects or leading continuous‑improvement projects.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., OPM, design engineering).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
- United States citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing earned‑value/CAM efforts.
- Experience with leading executive presentations.
- Experience with root‑cause corrective action methods.
- Experience troubleshooting circuit card assemblies.
- Experience and/or education in using the DMAIC process.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $98,900.00 – $148,300.00 (general guideline). Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and eligibility for Long‑Term Incentives for VP or Director positions.
