Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Principal Engineer, Networking to join a leading tech organization. This senior IC role requires end-to-end engineering experience in complex networking solutions, with leadership across Technology, Development, and Customer teams.

The candidate will define platform solutions, guide multidisciplinary efforts through development and EVT phases, and engage suppliers on roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of network hardware design experience, with at least 10 years at the system level.
• Strong knowledge of network product design across enterprise access, data center infrastructure, and telecommunications.
• Experience with CPU devices such as Intel & AMD x86 embedded processors and ARM embedded processors.
• Familiarity with high-speed design, PCB materials, Serdes technology, and optical devices.

Responsibilities

• Define complex networking platform solutions and lead a multidisciplinary team through the entire development process.
• Engage extensively during EVT phases, ensuring design quality metrics are achieved and maintained.
• Manage a small supporting team, driving goals and objectives within a collaborative environment involving Technology, Development, and Customer teams.
• Develop and maintain close technical relationships with suppliers and partners on product roadmaps and emerging technologies.
• Lead technical responses for RFQs, prepare system requirements documents, and deliver technical proposals to stakeholders.
