Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Engineer Electrical to join the team of qualified individuals on our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located onsite in Oklahoma City and Tinker AFB, OK. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible as a test engineer for level III system verification efforts. This candidate will utilize their understanding of system test to create test procedures based on Level III requirements, develop an expert understanding of your assigned subsystem, and utilize test infrastructure to dry run and execute system level verification. The T&E Team is responsible for completing verification of system level hardware and software capabilities developed and integrated for a classified program.
Work as a Laboratory System Test Engineer Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems. This position may require occasional shift work and overtime. Additionally, the nature of this position requires individuals to be comfortable working full time in a classified development environment; cell phones or personal electronic devices are prohibited within these areas. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Primary Level Salary Range: $93,300.00 - $139,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
