Job summary

Verizon is seeking an analytics and BI leader to drive data-driven marketing and CRM initiatives. You will produce dashboards, reports, and presentations to evaluate real-time decisions, and collaborate with channel leads and functional teams to supplement quantitative analysis with qualitative feedback.

In this hybrid role, you’ll work with large datasets, ensure data quality, build data marts, and use SQL, SAS and Tableau to size opportunities, design experiments, and present actionable plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Technology Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in analytics, BI management, or related roles.
• Experience producing dashboards, reports, and presentations to evaluate real-time CRM decisions.
• Experience with SQL, SAS, and Tableau; data quality and data marts.

Responsibilities

• Identify acquisition, revenue, and retention opportunities within the Consumer base.
• Build and maintain data marts and ensure data quality across multiple systems.

What you'll be doing...

• Responsible for analytics, data gathering, data modelling, data mining, strategic marketing, planning, and financial analysis.
• Identify and recommend acquisition, revenue, and retention opportunities within the Consumer base.
• Work with a large dataset environment, solving complex technical problems with the assistance of other subject-matter specialists, and partnering with other teams to drive Verizon's initiatives.
• Responsible for targets on improving various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through personalized data-driven recommendations.
• Identify influenceable cohorts of customers and execute targeted marketing campaigns to drive desired outcomes.
• Identify business problems and develop analytic techniques to provide solutions to external teams.
• Identify opportunities, size potential gains, and present actionable plans.
• Drive multiple technical and data-related projects of varying scopes and complexities.
• Work with other business units within Verizon, vendors, and executives to represent and drive the organization's strategy.
• Use data visualization and other data-gathering methods to either provide internal strategic direction or guide decisions for other teams.

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Technology Management, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Manager - AI Science, Manager - Business Intelligence, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years in the following: Producing a range of dashboards, reports and presentations to help evaluate impact of real time decisions-based CRM efforts; Partnering with channel leads and functional team to supplement quantitative analysis with qualitative feedback; Designing, building, automating and maintaining well-structured data marts. Proactively addressing any issues with data quality, accuracy and completeness; Resolving data issues and combining data from multiple systems through tools such as SQL, SAS and/or Tableau; Performing data analysis and development of conclusions and recommendations for stakeholder teams; and Ensuring business and technical architecture of the delivered solutions matches business requirements to support continued experimentation and evolve analytics.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 4 years of experience in the above.

Where you'll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
