We are seeking a seasoned Data Migration Engineer to lead the modernization of our data analytics stack, transitioning legacy data sources and visualization platforms to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The core focus is migrating data warehouses to BigQuery and transitioning reporting from Tableau to Looker/Looker Studio.

• Migration Execution: Lead end-to-end migration of Tableau dashboards and data sources to BigQuery/Looker, ensuring data integrity.GCP Development: Design, build, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and BigQuery.
• BI Modernization: Map legacy Tableau calculations and LOD expressions to LookML models, explores, and dashboards.
• Data Transformation: Utilize SQL and data modeling tools to rebuild data architectures for cloud scalability.
• Validation: Perform rigorous validation to ensure accuracy, performance, and security of migrated data and reports.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
