Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, Vermont, is seeking a reliability engineer for RF technology offerings (RF-SOI, RF-SiGe, RF-GaN). You will drive reliability planning, testing, and qualification with cross-functional teams across integration, device, and design.

We require an advanced degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of semiconductor reliability experience. Strong understanding of reliability physics and RCAs will help you succeed; familiarity with FMEAs is a plus.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
• 3-5 years of semiconductor technology and reliability engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in device and reliability physics, accelerated test methodologies, and reliability modeling.
• Knowledge of intrinsic semiconductor reliability mechanisms: HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM, and SM.

Responsibilities

• Drive reliability planning, testing, and assessments for GF RF technology offerings (RF-SOI, RF-SiGe, RF-GaN).
• Support test vehicle preparation by providing test structure design input and participating in design reviews.
• Drive root cause analysis of reliability tests, initiate failure analysis, propose corrective actions, and update FMEAs.
• Prepare qualification plans and reports for internal and external customers.
• Function as a technical resource for reliability lab operations.
• Coordinate logistics in preparing samples and allocating test time.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support EHS&S requirements.
