Job summary

Productive Resources is seeking a Principal Engineer of Software to join our engineering team at the customer facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You will develop embedded software for on-vehicle applications, create vehicle-level designs, and provide feedback on system requirements.

The role focuses on leading implementations in C/C++ and Matlab autogenerated code, with opportunities for growth within our organization. A full-time, indefinite position with potential for advancement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Five or more years of related experience.
• Systems design, customer interfacing, attention to detail, and independent work ability.
• Automotive experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of real-time embedded software in C/C++ and Matlab autogenerated.
• Develop vehicle-level designs and feedback on system requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to deliver complex projects on time.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and standard compliance tasks.
• Guide junior engineers and mentor team members on projects.
• Explore RTOS, Autosar, embedded systems, and edge computing in projects.
