Vardaspace is seeking a Principal Electromechanical Manufacturing Engineer to enhance the production of spacecraft assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards are met. You will collaborate closely with design engineers and play a critical role in the integration of payload systems.

Your background should include experience with electromechanical manufacturing and proficiency in wire harness fabrication. This full-time role is based on-site in El Segundo, CA, and offers a competitive salary range of $181,913–$232,444.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience manufacturing electromechanical assemblies in high-reliability industries.
• Experience with wire harness fabrication, IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and read technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manufacturing and assembly processes for Varda payload systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and specifications.
• Coordinate payload integration milestones with the vehicle integration team.
