Jacobs Management Group seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer (NDT) / Senior Hardware Design Engineer in Rochester, NY to own the electrical design of next-generation digital radiographic equipment from concept to production.

The role covers designing analog/digital circuits, creating schematics/PCB layouts, board bring-up, and developing wire/flex harnesses while collaborating with firmware and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Proven experience leading electrical systems from concept to production.
• Hands-on prototyping with PCBs, harnesses, and test fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical subsystems end-to-end for digital radiographic equipment.
• Design analog and digital circuits for detectors.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation.
• Run board bring-up, testing, debugging and validation.
• Design wire and flex harnesses with connectors and terminals.
• Partner with firmware engineers on embedded integration and hardware troubleshooting.

Principal Electrical Engineer (NDT) / Senior Hardware Design Engineer

My client builds x-ray imaging systems that let engineers see inside what can't be taken apart, plus medical products that help clinicians and communities. As Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll own the electrical design of next-generation digital radiographic equipment from concept to production.

• You're a hands-on prototyper who builds PCBs, harnesses, and test fixtures
• NDT or radiography experience is a strong plus
