Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Principal Digital Regulatory Assurance to ensure IT operations and software lifecycle processes meet regulatory requirements and corporate standards. The role leads in quality systems modernization with AI-driven automation and DevOps best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams and BTS Quality.

You will oversee quality activities, monitor SLC processes, drive automation, and coordinate audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives across the IT solution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or advanced degrees with proportionate experience.
• Experience managing SQA practices, validation strategy, risk and incident management/mitigation.
• Experience supporting regulatory audits and compliance (FDA or similar agencies).
• Strong analytics, project management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Coaching teams in policy, SLC execution, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of CSA and AI-enabled quality transformation.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and optimize quality systems through digital enablement and AI-driven solutions.
• Oversee IT quality across the technology lifecycle and incident management.
• Lead automation of software lifecycle processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and advanced automation in QA frameworks.
• Represent SQA in strategic forums and regulatory engagements.
• Provide mentorship on DevOps best practices and new tools.
