Overview

About Intuit: Our mission is to power prosperity around the world. Intuit is the global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses prosper. We're a mission‑driven, global financial technology company that creates products and tools to help you manage your money, get out of debt, and make smart financial decisions. We're known for products like QuickBooks, Mailchimp, TurboTax, and Credit Karma. At our core, we are deeply customer‑obsessed, relentlessly focused on solving our customers' most important problems and tenaciously delivering profound benefits that help them prosper.

About The Team

To predict the future, we must create it—and at Intuit, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

The CEO Transformation Office is a newly formed, high‑impact organization reporting directly to the CEO. Its mission is to mobilize the company around what matters most, shape the market, and accelerate Intuit’s transformation into the world’s leading global financial platform and system of intelligence.

This team sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, creativity, and execution. We bring together communications, creative, narrative development, and flagship events and experiences under one unified organization to ensure Intuit shows up with clarity, consistency, and conviction—internally and externally. From customers and prospects to media and investors, we shape how Intuit’s vision comes to life in the world.

At the heart of our work is a bold future: surrounding customers with a virtual team of AI agents and human intelligence that does the work for them and powers their prosperity. To deliver on that promise, we operate with a high say/do ratio, a bias for action, and an uncompromising focus on impact. We don’t just tell the story—we help drive the outcomes.

Joining the CEO Transformation Office means working on the company’s most visible, mission‑critical initiatives, partnering with senior leaders across the business, and helping define how Intuit’s strategy is experienced by the world. This is a team for builders, storytellers, and operators who want to shape the future—not react to it.

We are looking for a craft‑obsessed Principal Design Lead to translate our company narrative into world‑class visual expressions. In this role, you will be an engine for the graphic identity of our story, ensuring our mission and innovations are communicated through sophisticated, cohesive design. You will bring to life narratives that galvanize our employees and position Intuit externally as a leader in the era of AI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Storytelling: Develop high‑end graphic expressions that translate complex business strategies into compelling visual narratives for internal and external audiences.
  • System Evolution: Help evolve and scale Intuit's brand identity into a dynamic and ownable visual system that brings our personality to life across static touchpoints.
  • Creative Partnership: Act as a strategic conceptual partner to other creative leads across copy, video, motion design, providing the graphic depth and quality needed for award‑winning work.
  • Design Excellence at Scale: Maintain and model a high bar for quality and taste, influencing the visual expression of cross‑functional projects to ensure consistency and excellence.
Craft & Leadership
  • Quality & Taste: Maintain and model an exceptionally high bar for design craft, typography, and layout.
  • Strategic Pitching: Present design concepts and the strategic rationale behind them to senior leadership.
  • Operational Agility: Partner with operations to ensure your creative work is delivered at speed and scale without sacrificing excellence.
  • Trend Awareness: Track industry design trends and best practices to keep Intuit’s visual language modern and innovative.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10–15 years of design experience within a high‑growth brand team or a top‑tier creative agency.
  • Taste: You know what great looks like and apply deep expertise in branding, layout, typography, and the creation of comprehensive design systems.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with a proven ability to articulate a strategic design approach.
  • Collaboration: A positive, kind team player who is optimistic and able to overcome obstacles through creative problem‑solving.
  • Adaptability: Experience working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment with multiple stakeholders.
Benefits and Compensation

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
