Amazon’s AWS Professional Services seeks a Principal Delivery Consultant with hands-on cloud architecture and implementation experience, strong AWS knowledge, to work directly with customers.

You'll lead implementations, advise on migration strategies, optimize performance, and manage risk across the project lifecycle while mentoring teammates and creating reusable artifacts. This on-site role expects US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
• 5+ years of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role.
• 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience.
• 5+ years of CI/CD experience.
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

AWS Professional Services is looking for a Principal Delivery Consultant with hands-on cloud architecture and implementation experience, strong AWS knowledge, and the ability to work directly with customers to turn complex requirements into production-ready solutions. You'll lead implementations, advise on migration strategies, optimize performance, and manage risk across the project lifecycle.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience


• 5+ years of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role experience


• 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience


• 5+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience


• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience


• Experience coordinating the production of multiple concurrent contract deliverables (CDRLs or equivalent) across teams who each own portions of the content — driving consistency, managing dependencies between documents, and ensuring deliverables tell a coherent story while requirements are still being refined and delivery is already underway

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
