Qualifications

• Strong academic background with coursework or research in machine learning, AI, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and techniques; experience with hypothesis testing, regression, clustering, and classification.
• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark); proficiency in SQL, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring other data scientists and aligning initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop data science solutions that maximize insight and deliver actionable business value.
• Apply data mining, prescriptive and predictive analytics across the data life cycle.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to design and deliver data products.
• Ensure data cleansing and governance; build reusable data pipelines and checks.
• Lead and mentor other data scientists and set team development plans.
• Communicate the benefits of data science to stakeholders and customers.
