Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate Data Scientist to join the Generative AI Systems team within Card Data Science. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to build ML models using Python, AWS, Spark and H2O on large-scale data to drive data informed decisions and improve customer outcomes.

The selected candidate will contribute to Generative AI Systems initiatives, building and deploying AI-driven solutions that support analytics and customer-facing applications,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with relevant analytics experience
• Master's degree (quantitative) or MBA with quantitative concentration with analytics experience
• PhD in a quantitative field or related area required or strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused products
• Utilize Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark to uncover insights from large-scale data
• Develop ML models across design, training, evaluation and deployment
• Translate technical work into clear business goals and metrics
