Job summary

Oracle OCI seeks a Principal Data Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced data platforms, AI-enabled automation, predictive analytics, and operational intelligence across OCI's global supply chain.

You will partner with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, and Engineering to build intelligent automation and data products that enable proactive management of supply chain operations, requiring deep technical expertise and cross-functional influence.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, automation, AI/ML, or related technical roles.
• Experience designing and developing scalable data pipelines, analytics platforms, and automation solutions.
• Proven experience delivering data products and dashboards supporting cross-functional business operations.
• Experience applying predictive analytics or machine learning to solve operational or supply chain challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Experience supporting supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, or cloud infrastructure operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data automation solutions for OCI's global supply chain.
• Develop AI/ML models that improve forecasting, inventory optimization, and deployment execution.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes with analytics and intelligent workflows.
• Build reusable data frameworks and data products to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications across supply chain operations.
• Design and develop robust data pipelines and architectures for real-time reporting and analytics.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and self-service analytics to improve visibility across functions.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate data across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and cloud platforms.
