Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Data Protection Lead to design, implement, and strengthen data protection across software, cloud, and enterprise systems in a Frisco-based role. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in security risk assessment.
• Experience conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Knowledge of data protection across cloud, mobile, and IoT environments.
• Familiarity with AI security practices and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security assessments and testing to identify and mitigate risks within current security tools, current AI, and emerging AI
• Architects proactive security measures and strategies to enhance the security posture across various technologies including Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, and Island Browser
• Collaborates with engineering teams to integrate security practices into data posture, data security, and implementation guidelines
• Serves as an authority in cybersecurity, providing guidance and leadership to various business units
• Drives strategic security initiatives to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with security standards
• Evaluates new technologies and processes for potential security vulnerabilities and recommends corrective actions
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
