Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Principal Data Product Manager to lead the data components of its Investment Group initiatives, translating business outcomes into scalable data solutions that support research, portfolio construction, risk management, analytics, and decision-making.

You will collaborate with capability leaders, product managers, architects, engineers, data leaders, and external providers to identify, source, profile, validate, and operationalize data, align priorities to data requirements,

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in investment data, investment tech, analytics, or related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of investment processes supporting portfolio management, research, and risk analytics.
• Experience with enterprise data management and modern data platforms; collaboration with architects and engineers.
• Experience across multiple investment data domains: market data, security master, benchmarks, holdings, transactions, performance, risk, research, analytics.
• Experience with leading data providers and analytics platforms such as MSCI, Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Databricks, Snowflake.
