ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a Cyber Data & Mobile Characterization Analyst to join team Nyla in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will be at the tip of the spear in access discovery, enablement, and mobile application characterization. You'll harness advanced analytics tools, Python scripting, and interactive visualization platforms to transform complex network and application data into clear, actionable intelligence for mission partners.

The annual base salary range for this role is $154,000-$182,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

• Operational Frameworks & Tools: High proficiency and comfort operating within XKS and DX environments for data query, discovery, and targeted analysis.
• Data Analytics & Scripting: Strong hands-on experience using Python for data manipulation, script automation, and workflow creation.
• Interactive Notebook Development: Proven experience creating and deploying Jupyter Notebooks to summarize and share mission-relevant findings.
• Data Visualization: Hands-on experience translating complex datasets into clear visual insights using modern Data Viz tools.
• Domain Focus: Background in mobile application characterization, network traffic analysis, and access discovery methods.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management, PLUS 10+ years of professional systems engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 14+ years of hands‑on technical systems engineering and architecture experience in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills

Software Development: Hands‑on familiarity or development experience with C++ is a strong nice‑to‑have.

Advanced Scripting: Experience tailoring custom Python libraries for automated SIGINT/Cyber data analysis.

Multi-Domain Intelligence Collaboration: Background interfacing directly with mission managers, technical capability developers, and field operations teams.
