Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data or Enterprise Architecture.
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience.
• Strong expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, MDM, and Data Governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).

We are seeking a Principal Data Architect to be one of the architects shaping Donaldson's enterprise data future. We're building a newly re-established Enterprise Architecture team, and this is your opportunity to influence how data, AI, analytics, and modern cloud technologies are adopted across a global manufacturing company. You'll be part of a small, highly visible team where your ideas will directly influence enterprise technology decisions across a global organization. This isn't a role where you'll create standards from the sidelines; you'll be a hands‑on Data Architect, partnering with business leaders, engineering teams, and emerging technology experts to solve real business challenges and drive enterprise-wide transformation.
You'll love the opportunity to shape enterprise data strategy from the ground up, work with Snowflake, Azure, Oracle, AI, and modern cloud technologies, influence executive decisions and enterprise architecture standards, collaborate across business, IT, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Qualified candidates must be able to work a Remote or hybrid US schedule.

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Annual Salary Range: $152,190 to $186,000. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
This position is eligible for annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
