The selected candidate will work with the cybersecurity team to continuously ensure systems are compliant with program security requirements.What You’ll Get to Do:Perform security assessments on containerized applications; drive remediation efforts.Collaborate with software, systems, and security engineers to define secure architectures and deployment patterns.Ensure cyber survivability attributes are implemented in system designsSupport the security architecture and influence the security tools selection and development.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in STEM field with 5 years of cyber systems experience – OR – master’s degree in a STEM field with 3 years of cyber systems experience.Active Secret security clearance to Start.Requires an Active DoD 8140/8570 certification (e.g., Security+ CE).Experience managing and manipulating containers (e.g. Podman, Docker, Kubernetes)Provide technical analyses of cyber infrastructure challenges and problems; develop/identify technical solutions responsive to customer needsRecommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance, reliability, and security of the system including installation, upgrading, monitoring, problem resolution, and configurationCollaborate with SW development and cyber teams on implementing and documenting plans for system deployment(s)Solve complex problems across disciplines in an Agile, DevSecOps environmentExperience working in a Linux environment (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) including basic command-line usage, file system navigation, and process managementExposure to basic shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation of routine tasksFamiliarity with Linux user and permission management (users, groups, file permissions)Preferred Qualifications:Experience enforcing container security standards and remediate vulnerabilities in container images.Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, including user management, security patching, and troubleshootingExperience working with systems engineering, software, integration/test, configuration management, and program stakeholders to support cybersecurity execution across the system lifecycle.Proven experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment and AdministrationPrimary Level Salary Range: $119,600.00 - $179,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
