Job summary

Shld, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly to lead front-end development and analytics services.

The role focuses on building UI-heavy components using modern JS frameworks, collaborating in an Agile DevSecOps environment, and implementing robust data-driven solutions with Neo4j and Node.js. Candidates should have strong REST design, testing, and monitoring practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

Responsibilities

• Develop services using REST, JSON, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker.
• Perform test-driven software engineering and development activities in an Agile DevSecOps model.
• Use DevSecOps tools including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Artifactory.
• Measure and optimize service execution using AppDynamics, CloudWatch, and Splunk.

Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Front End/UI-Focused)

Experienced front-end software engineer to develop services using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker.

Candidate will perform test-driven software engineering and development activities associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing analytic systems using an Agile DevSecOps model.

Will use processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Artifactory.

Candidate will measure and optimize service execution using tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch, and Splunk.

Required

• A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
• Agile software development using Python, JavaScript
• Tools/Skills: Vue.js, React, Java, Python
• Knowledge of API design best practices and data governance.
• Must have experience using Neo4j
