Job summary

twentyAI is partnering with a specialist consultancy to recruit an experienced SimCorp SME for client engagements across scoping, design and implementation delivery.

The role is hands-on and client-facing, requiring deep SimCorp knowledge to understand requirements, assess existing systems, define scope and support successful implementations of SimCorp solutions for investment managers across front, middle and back office functions.

Qualifications

• Experience with SimCorp Dimension and/or SimCorp One in client engagements.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Understanding of investment management operations across front, middle and back office.

Responsibilities

• Scope SimCorp projects with clients, define objectives, deliverables and roadmaps.
• Lead discovery workshops with investment, operations, finance and data stakeholders.
• Assess current SimCorp environments, processes and operating models for gaps and risks.
• Translate requirements into solution designs, plans and specifications.
• Support SimCorp implementations, upgrades, enhancements and integrations.
• Advise on platform configuration, functionality and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and technical teams.
• Identify dependencies and risks, providing mitigation to keep projects on track.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment and post-implementation activities.

We are partnering with a specialist consultancy looking for an experienced SimCorp SME to support client engagements across project scoping, solution design and implementation delivery.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone with strong SimCorp knowledge who can work with investment management firms to understand their requirements, assess existing systems and operating models, define project scope and support the successful implementation of SimCorp solutions.

The role will suit someone who combines deep platform expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, and who can translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients to scope SimCorp projects, understand business requirements and define project objectives, deliverables and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead discovery workshops with investment, operations, finance, data and technology stakeholders.
• Assess existing SimCorp environments, business processes and operating models to identify gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into solution designs, implementation plans and clear project specifications.
• Support SimCorp implementations, upgrades, enhancements and system integrations.
• Advise clients on platform configuration, functionality, workflows and best practices.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, technical teams and client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Identify dependencies, delivery risks and potential challenges, providing recommendations to keep projects on track.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing, deployment and post-implementation activities where required.

Experience & Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with SimCorp Dimension and/or SimCorp One.
• Proven experience supporting or delivering SimCorp implementations, upgrades or transformation projects.
• Experience scoping projects, gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional solutions.
• Strong understanding of investment management operations and the systems and processes supporting front, middle and back office functions.
• Experience working with asset managers, investment managers or other financial services organisations.
• Excellent client‑facing, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, provide subject‑matter expertise and advise clients on the best approach to implementation and delivery.
