A job at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to work at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States. TSMC Arizona’s first fab will operate its leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. The recently announced third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or even more advanced process technology, with production starting by the end of the decade. Brief Description

Perform engineering design evaluations and work to complete projects within budget and schedule restraints. Review industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
• Provide technical support for the engineering process.
• Design, implement, and communicate an operational plan for completing the project.
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather resources necessary to complete the project.
• Prepare engineering designs and work specifications.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
• Supervise engineers, drafters, and/or technicians on a project basis.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Alternatively, company will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in an engineering role.

Technical Skills

• Must have two (2) years of experience in project management.
• Must have one (1) year of experience with semiconductor manufacturing principles, practices and techniques as they relate to engineering and maintenance.
• Must have one (1) year of experience in piping design and 3D modeling.

Physical Requirements

• Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.

Standard Work Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
