Exponent, a premier engineering and scientific consulting firm, is seeking a Principal – Dispute Resolution for its Construction Consulting Practice in Oakland, CA. You will lead a dynamic team advising on large projects, expanding client relationships, and guiding dispute resolution efforts including litigation.

The role requires extensive experience in construction claims, expert testimony, and strong business development.

Qualificações

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture; advanced degree desirable.
• Minimum 15 years in construction claims consulting and industry experience.
• Experience in contract dispute resolution, construction claims and litigation services.
• Experience as an expert in forensic schedule delay and/or cost/damage preferred.
• Proven business development and client management track record.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Expert witness testimonial experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Expand construction consulting work and develop new client relationships.
• Provide strategic planning to identify and secure opportunities, promote Exponent’s services.
• Generate revenue to build a profitable consulting team.
• Oversee client assignments, conduct claims prep, review and analysis; assist through disputes including litigation.
• Prepare analyses and expert reports on delay, cost, damages, lost profits, and productivity.
• Recruit, mentor staff in delays, impacts, costs, and advisory work.
• Promote Exponent’s offerings through client meetings, conferences, articles, and seminars.
