Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Configuration Analyst / Senior Principal Configuration Analyst in Melbourne, FL, contingent on program clearance. The role involves planning documentation, contract review, and change analysis to ensure contract requirements are met.

Essential duties include managing supplier data deliverables, supporting the Supplier Management Team, and coordinating modification records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional work experience or Master’s with 3 years; or 9+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Data Management principles/best practices.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-61 and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation (drawings, specs, schedules).
• Review contracts to determine documentation requirements for each phase.
• Analyze proposed changes to determine impact on product and system.
• Interpret DD-1423 requirements and link to CDML/SDRLs.
• Validate CDM SOW requirements.
• Manage supplier accounts for tracking, processing and reporting deliverables.
• Coordinate modification records for management control.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Configuration Analyst / Senior Principal Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida and is contingent upon program clearance.

Essential Functions:

• Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
• Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
• Interpretation of Form DD-1423 requirements and the direct correlation between Contract and Subcontract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRL/SDRLs).
• Validate Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
• Manages supplier accounts for tracking, processing and reporting of supplier data deliverables.
• Work in a support capacity for the Supplier Management Team pertaining to assigned supplier accounts being managed.
• Coordinates modification records for management control.

Basic Qualifications

• Principal Configuration Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional work experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of professional work experience OR 9 total years of professional work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
• Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional work experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of professional work experience OR 12 total years of professional work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Data Management principles / best practices to include management of contract and supplier data.
• Experience following documented rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-61.
• Experience interacting and communicating with all levels of employees and management.
• Must have an active US Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with professional work experience in a Systems Engineering or Configuration Data Management environment
• Experience within a Configuration and Data Management discipline.
• Experience working experience in Jira.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Teamcenter proficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Primary Level Salary Range:

$81,400.00 - $122,000.00

Secondary Level Salary Range:

$101,400.00 - $152,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
