The role focuses on supporting a mixed Linux/Windows environment, including networking, user accounts, test equipment, and on‑call support during critical testing phases.

• Knowledge of network drive shares and access management.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Linux‑RHEL 7/8/9 and other Linux distros.
• Understanding of security best practices, access control and incident response.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues, communicate clearly, multitask, and document processes.
• Top Secret (TS) and active SCI Clearances with Poly within the last 5 years required at application time.

The role focuses on supporting operations in a mixed Linux and Windows environment, including networking, user account management, test equipment support, and on‑call assistance during critical testing phases.

Core Responsibilities

• Support daily requests from operations floor and SV EGSE test sets.
• Provide network access for high bay locations and new equipment.
• Manage user accounts and shared drive access.
• Travel ~10% and support offsite activities when required.
• Provide 24x7 on‑call support during critical test phases.

Standard Work Schedule

9/80 schedule: nine‑hour days Monday to Thursday with alternate Fridays off.

Basic Qualifications (Level 3)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of network protocols and firewall configuration; ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Intermediate understanding of computer networking, OS configuration, network switches, firewalls, CISCO IOS and cable media such as CAT6 and fiber optics.
• Experience building, deploying, and configuring Windows 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux RHEL 7, 8 or 9; troubleshoot IT hardware and systems.
• Experience with NetApp storage appliances, VMWare vSphere, Active Directory administration, Security Center.

Salary Range

Primary Level: $114,000 – $171,000. Secondary Level: $142,200 – $213,400. Salary is determined by scope, experience, market conditions.
