Lumen seeks a Principal Architect, Cloud FinOps, to drive AI-ready connectivity strategy and cost-aware cloud design. You will own enterprise standards for multi-cloud architecture, cloud economics, and financial governance in a high accountability setting.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Finance, and Exec leadership to align cloud investments with business value, performance, and security, shaping the future of enterprise cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping multi-cloud enterprise architectures with financial accountability.
• Strong track record influencing executive stakeholders and architecture decisions.
• Deep knowledge of FinOps, cloud economics, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern multi-cloud architecture standards across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Lead FinOps, cost optimization, and cloud governance programs enterprise-wide.
• Guide migration, modernization, and platform optimization with ROI focus.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and cloud investment roadmaps.
• Mentor architects and engineers in FinOps practices and IaC.
