Caylent is seeking a Principal Architect to join our Cloud Architecture & Engineering team. The right candidate has deep cloud expertise and a passion for delivering AWS-based solutions to diverse customers, partners, and colleagues.

You will lead architectural strategy, guide delivery, mentor engineers, and engage in pre-sales activities while shaping Caylent’s technical leadership across projects and practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of architecting in enterprise environments, preferably consulting.
• Clear communication of objectives and solutions with client relationships.
• Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking across business, product, and tech.
• Strong expertise in serverless AWS and IaC-based deployments.

The Mission

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Architect to join our growing Cloud Architecture &Engineering team. The right candidate is someone who has deep expertise in cloud architectureand is passionate about working with our customers, partners, and colleagues to driveinnovation forward. Your mission will be to work alongside Caylent’s Engineers, Architects,Sales, and Project Managers to deliver AWS solutions across our diverse and forward-thinkingcustomer base. You’ll work with the latest technologies and support customers looking to bringcutting-edge ideas to market.

Your Assignments

• Serve as a technical advisor and thought leader across multiple workstreams andstrategic customer engagements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and design high-impact, cloudsolutions.
• Lead discovery sessions, create and present technical artifacts, and define long-termarchitectural strategy.
• Guide small teams or oversee larger teams through implementation and delivery.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and provide architectural direction across internal andexternal projects.
• Create and share public-facing content that showcases Caylent’s innovation andtechnical leadership.
• Support pre-sales through proposal development, scoping, and technical estimation.
• Mentor Architects and Engineers across projects and practices to elevate technicalexecution and growth.
• Represent Caylent with delivery excellence and deep technical leadership.

Technical Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Architect in enterprise environments, preferably in aconsulting capacity.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical objectives and solutions while cultivatingprofessional client relationships.
• Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking across business, product, and technicalchallenges.
• Strong expertise in serverless development using API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS,and CloudFront.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS environments and implementingInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Advanced experience with DevOps automation, including containerization, APImanagement, and multi-cloud solutions.
