Job summary

Headway is building the future of behavioral health and is hiring a Principal for Clinical Quality in New York. You will spearhead clinical quality monitoring initiatives across our provider network of NPs and MDs/DOs, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective care while shaping the ongoing professional practice evaluation program.

You will collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to scale quality frameworks, supervise reviewers, and implement automated monitoring systems

Qualifications

• PMHNP with 6+ years of post-graduate clinical practice and business experience.
• Extensive experience conducting quality chart reviews and audits.
• Proven ability to train others on clinical documentation standards.
• Ability to bridge clinical strategy with product, operations, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical quality strategy and develop safety, efficiency, and effectiveness standards.
• Scale Professional Practice Evaluation programs across NPs and MDs/DOs.
• Conduct routine chart reviews and provide remediation plans.
• Collaborate with Operations to build automated quality monitoring systems.
• Supervise clinical teams and peer reviewers as the network scales.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and feedback systems.
