Job summary

Framatome in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking a senior software engineer to join the NDE Solutions team. You will design and implement software for robotic inspection systems, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to deliver robust control solutions for challenging nuclear environments.

This role requires a BS in CS or engineering, 10+ years of experience, and expertise in C++/C#, Linux and Windows development, MFC/.NET, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Expert knowledge of concepts and procedures in the area of specialization.
• Understanding of network protocols and application deployment across environments.
• Experience with C++ and/or C#.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Development.
• Experience with MFC and/or .NET.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.

You will work with the Nondestructive Examinations (NDE) Engineering organization, which designs tooling and complex robotic systems to perform inspections of nuclear plants around the world! Our focus is on visual, ultrasonic, and eddy current exams. What You'll Do Day-To-Day

Total Rewards Package

Salary: $115,000 - $156,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
