Job description

The Research Statistics Group is seeking a principal biostatistician with a PhD in biostatistics or equivalent. The group's core mission is to develop innovative statistical and data analytical solutions for R&D and manufacturing, enabling high-quality data-driven decisions. The successful candidate should be capable of applying advanced statistical methodologies and ML/AI technologies to foster innovation, improve business efficiencies, and increase success probabilities across our portfolio and business areas. The role reports to the head of the Research Statistics group within the Biostatistics organization.

What You’ll Do

1. Develop methodologies and capabilities using statistical and ML/AI techniques.
2. Partner with the biomarker team to facilitate data-driven decisions in clinical development.
3. Provide statistical expertise and leadership within the research organization.
4. Conduct fundamental statistical training across the organization.
5. Collaborate with data analytical communities within Biogen to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics or equivalent.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this role is $119,000 - $160,000, determined through an analytical approach considering skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Employees are eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, including bonuses and equity incentives, based on individual and company performance.
