Job summary

Cummins in Columbus, IN seeks a Principal Automation Specialist, Business Risk Intelligence, to lead cybersecurity design, automation strategy, and enterprise AI integration. Qualifications include 5–7 years in cybersecurity, CISSP preferred, and hands-on experience with cloud, automation, and Power Platform/AI services;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• CISSP or similar certification preferred.
• This position may require licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, integration, and alignment of cybersecurity technologies and system configurations to meet security, performance, and business requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate needs, develop technology solutions, and drive secure business outcomes.
• Conduct cybersecurity engineering and research to develop capabilities and embed security controls within enterprise systems.
• Design secure hardware, OS, and software architectures addressing cybersecurity risks and compliance.
• Manage authorized penetration testing activities and remediation to strengthen security posture.
• Drive financial stewardship including AOP, budget management, forecasting, POs, and invoice reconciliation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop employees and contractors while managing resources to achieve objectives.
• Foster partnerships and high-performing teams through performance management, development planning, coaching, and BRM practices.
