Example Projects

• Develop profitability analysis and discounted cash flow projections in support of deal flow and network participant negotiations.
• Provide business partners with strategic, financially supported advice for customer pricing and investment decisions.
• Evaluate PULSE’s customer portfolio and broader economic trends in order to recommend opportunities for strategic growth.
• Determine how to effectively leverage Capital One’s data and technology infrastructure to differentiate ourselves in particular markets or business segments.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis.
• At least 4 years of experience with financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with financial modeling.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Suite.

Compensation

Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are:
Houston, TX: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Financial Analyst
Riverwoods, IL: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Financial Analyst
Other locations: subject to the pay range associated with that location. The actual annualized salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
