Arcadis is hiring a Principal Architect to work in their Transit Group, based in San Francisco or Los Angeles. This role requires 20+ years of architectural experience, specifically in large-scale transit projects, and offers the chance to mentor teams and lead design initiatives. Arcadis is seeking a high-caliber Principal Architect to join our Transit Group practice in either Los Angeles or San Francisco office. The successful candidate will help win, design and mentor a team of architects on transit projects. This role offers the chance to shape the design of large‑scale transit facilities with opportunities for local, national, and international work. 15+ years of experience required managing multi‑disciplinary teams, serving as the client liaison, and solving complex challenges with creative, elegant solutions; 5+ years recent and relevant rail, bus facility experience. Arcadis offers benefits for full‑time and part‑time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $230,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
