Job summary

Lumicity is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer to lead DC-DC and power MOSFET-focused customer designs in the RTP area, with occasional travel to client sites. You will serve as a technical authority on high-performance converter design, collaborate with customers, and help advance the most advanced Si MOSFETs in the market.

This role offers visibility into next-generation power devices, equity options, and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Confident designing switch-mode power supplies or motor drives using HV MOSFETs or wide-bandgap devices.
• Track record in Solid State Power Conversion Design.
• Proficiency with simulation tools.
• Ability to support customers with schematic reviews, layout review and general design questions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Lumicity is partnered with an industry leader in silicon power devices as they look to expand their customer applications engineering capabilities at their new site in the RTP area.

They are looking to bring on a Principal Applications Engineer with deep expertise in high-performance power converter design and power MOSFETs who will act as a technical authority for customer designs.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on the most advanced Si MOSFETs in the marketplace and become an integral part of this new team.

Role: Principal Applications Engineer

Location: RTP Area + Occasional travel to customer site

Compensation: Competitive base + equity options
