MRIGlobal seeks a Principal Chemist in Charlottesville, VA to lead analytical chemistry efforts in the Integrated Defense Solutions unit. You will guide method development, data interpretation, and client communications for chromatography and mass spectrometry analyses.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with experience; MS with 6+ years; BS with 10+ years; or equivalent mix.
• Strong organizational skills, problem solving, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Excellent laboratory records documentation; proficient in common MS software and MS data handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction.
• Direct and/or perform sample preparation and analysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
• Develop analytical methods and SOPs.
• Review analytical data and reports.
• Write technical proposals, reports, or papers with clear conclusions.
• Interact with clients to summarize testing results.
