Job summary

Forrester Research, Inc. is seeking a Principal Analyst to lead technology resilience and data storage research. You will drive research on practices, platforms, and trends, collaborating with sales, product, and client success teams to deliver insights and advisory services.

You will develop a portfolio across cloud, storage, and recovery domains, communicate with senior clients, and contribute to Forrester Waves and related IP throughout the year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in director-level or higher tech roles as practitioner, consultant or analyst.
• Ability to advise senior management and C-level clients.
• Superior client-facing communication, listening, and collaboration with researchers and client leaders.
• Solid technical experience across major enterprise platforms: cloud, storage, resilience, backup, infrastructure, security.
• Familiarity with SRE, NIMS, NRF, availability zones, ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, post-incident practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology and data resilience coverage across research teams to develop a complete portfolio.
• Conduct primary research (interviews, surveys, briefings) into practices and trends.
• Analyze resilience across cloud platforms, SaaS, and enterprise applications.
• Produce high-quality, deeply analytic research content and IP throughout the year.
• Build visibility, lead Waves and Landscape research, and advise clients and stakeholders.
