Job Overview

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Analog Design Engineer based in Woodland Hills, CA. The role includes relocation assistance, travel 10% of the time, and requires a US Government Secret clearance (to be obtained upon hire). This is a full‑time position with a 9/80 schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analog circuit design and analysis to support development of new products, including system‑level and subsystem‑level requirements analysis, conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design through verification and characterization.
  • Conduct circuit modeling, simulation and analysis; perform signal and power integrity analyses on PCB designs.
  • Use schematic capture tools such as Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
  • Perform circuit and subsystem test, troubleshooting, and design verification.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years, or Ph.D. with no experience in STEM fields.
  • Prior experience in analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation.
  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain or maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience with schematic capture in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
  • Experience with circuit and sub‑system test and troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to work on‑site full time in Woodland Hills, CA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PCB design using Mentor Xpedition Designer and AMS.
  • Experience with HyperLynx signal and power integrity analyses.
  • PSpice circuit design analysis experience.
  • Design verification and test experience.
  • MSEE with emphasis in analog circuit design.
