Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering or systems architecture experience.
• 1+ year building and operating production large language model systems, with at least one agentic system in production.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement multi-agent systems and governance frameworks within AI delivery pipelines.
• Define tool/context layers: Model Context Protocol, output schemas, retrieval pipelines, and context engineering standards.
• Develop evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, and regression suites to verify AI improvements.
• Own performance, cost, reliability, and security for AI workloads including tracing and budgeting.
• Establish guardrails: PHI gates, data protection, least-privilege tool scoping, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
• Evaluate models, frameworks, vendors; publish results and assess risks and failure modes.
• Produce reference architectures, interface docs, design patterns, and decision records for the program.
• Mentor engineers and raise the engineering organization’s capabilities in AI governance.
