Serving as a lead enterprise architect and AI engineering authority, the full-time Principal AI Software Developer will define and deliver large‑scale, mission‑critical AI‑enabled systems while engaging with executive‑level stakeholders and driving AI governance and innovation in federal environments.
- Define AI and application architecture strategy at the enterprise level across multiple programs
- Establish long‑term modernization roadmaps for federal systems, ensuring alignment with mission outcomes and compliance
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions and oversee multiple concurrent development efforts
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 12-15+ years of software engineering experience, including 6-8+ years in AI-enabled systems
- Expert‑level proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks
- Deep experience with cloud‑native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and multi‑environment deployments
- Prior experience serving as Lead Architect or Technical Director on federal programs
