Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Principal AI and ML Infra Software Engineer to join the Hardware Infrastructure team. You will work closely with AI/ML researchers to identify infrastructure needs and implement scalable improvements on GPU clusters.

Responsibilities include optimizing performance, guiding long-term roadmaps, and collaborating with researchers, data engineers, and DevOps. Strong HPC, GPU, and container experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 15+ years of AI/ML and HPC experience.
• Experience with HPC infrastructure, GPU, storage, scheduling, networking and containers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with AI/ML research teams to identify infrastructure needs and convert to improvements.
• Lead initiatives to reduce bottlenecks and improve researcher efficiency.
• Define long-term roadmaps for infra initiatives.
• Collaborate with researchers, data engineers and DevOps to build an integrated AI/ML infra.
