Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd. is recruiting a Principal AI Engineer to own production Generative AI solutions across a value-stream pod. You will shape problems with examiners and operations, build AI agents and workflows in Python and React, and set standards for API-first delivery and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Ten (10)+ years of software engineering experience with at least four (4) years owning production Generative AI or applied-AI systems.
• Hands-on production experience on AWS, Python, React, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Experience leading technical delivery for a value stream or equivalent without people-management authority.
• Insurance, claims, healthcare, or a regulated domain experience is preferred.

Master’s degree preferred. **Experience** Ten (10)+ or more years of software engineering experience, including at least four (4) years owning production Generative AI or applied-AI systems in the field — agents, workflows, or applications, including evaluation, failure handling, and a human review loop — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Hands-on production experience on AWS, and hands-on Python, React, GitHub Actions, and Terraform, at a level sufficient to set the bar for a pod, not only meet it.
