Job summary

NCR Voyix in Atlanta seeks a Principal Software Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered applications and data platforms. You will guide architecture, cloud modernization, and enterprise-scale delivery across GCP, Databricks, and modern full-stack development.

You will mentor engineering teams, set standards for observability, governance, and security, and drive scalable microservices and data pipelines aligned with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of cloud-native application development experience.
• 3+ years with Databricks and Spark ecosystem.
• 3+ years building AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in GCP architecture and services.
• Strong full-stack development experience with modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead AI/ML solutions leveraging LLMs, AI Agents, and RAG architectures.
• Develop intelligent apps using Google AI services, Vertex AI, Gemini, LangChain, and LangGraph.
• Drive AI platform architecture, governance, observability, and responsible AI practices.
• Implement scalable AI inference and model deployment pipelines.
• Lead full-stack development of cloud-native web apps and APIs.
• Design modern front-end solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JS, HTML5, CSS.
• Build scalable backend services with Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Architect microservices and event-driven systems for enterprise workloads.
• Lead code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Develop Databricks-based data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Optimize data processing, governance, and cost management.
• Integrate AI workloads with Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
