Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Acquisition Systems Engineer Principal to provide SETA support to Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. This role focuses on acquisition of multi-INT software services and cloud-based developments, guiding government managers in acquisition and operation.

The candidate will lead program management and technical efforts, develop acquisition strategies, and collaborate with government and partners to enable innovative capabilities and efficient, automated multi-INT collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive years of experience in acquisition and program management.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance with Polygraph is required.
• 7+ years of IC acquisition cycle, requirements and budgeting experience.
• Experience managing software development programs and related documentation.
• Familiarity with traditional/non-FAR vehicles (IDIQ, OTA, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication in high-tempo environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management and technical engineering support to manage multi-INT software acquisitions across the life-cycle.
• Develop acquisition strategies, artifacts, and participate in proposal evaluations as needed.
• Support oversight of development contractors with roadmaps and documentation to implement strategies.
• Collaborate with government, SETA, and industry partners on future ground architecture concepts.
• Lead interchanges, resolve issues, and advise on automated multi-INT collection orchestration and sensemaking.
• Derive requirements and produce corresponding documentation at enterprise, system, and interface levels.
• Apply analyses to identify technical debt and efficiency trade-offs for cloud-based designs.
• Support agile process evolution across government teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
