Job summary

Rivermont Schools in Virginia seeks a Principal to provide leadership, vision, and guidance to foster academic excellence, positive school culture, and student success. You’ll oversee daily operations and support educators and clinicians to ensure Rivermont’s standards are met.

This role requires a master’s degree, at least 3 years of experience with students with disabilities, and a Virginia license; you will manage curriculum, assessments, and community partnerships to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education, school administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Eligibility for or possession of a valid VDOE postgraduate professional license with endorsement.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license.

• Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality academic and therapeutic programming
