Northrop Grumman’s Employee Communications team seeks a creative employee communicator who is confident in being a strategic advisor, thrives on the challenge of informing and inspiring employees around business priorities and culture, loves to story tell and constantly seeks to improve through disciplined measurement, analysis and adjustment.
This position reports to the Employee Communications manager for Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector, and is located on-site in McLean, VA.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university with five (5) plus years of experience successfully developing and deploying communications practices or three (3) plus years of communications experience with Master‑level degree from accredited university. An additional four years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Possess a high level of integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong judgement, problem solving and organizational skills, and superb attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
